I know that we said that we would resume on the 1st of September, but the trip started for us on Wednesday afternoon, so we might as well restart there.   Our flight was departing Stansted at 07:00 on Thursday morning, so we had concluded that a night in an airport hotel was the best way to get there on time.   The alarm went off at 04:30 on Thursday, it really was getting us back into the swing of being on the boat. The flight was undramatic, but on landing, before we could even find the vehicle to take us to the marina, we bumped into one of our sailing club friends.   We had known that he was roughly in this area, but were only expecting to catch up with him next year.   He was meeting other folks from our sailing club, and in a quick conversation we realised that our paths would cross over the next few days, so we will aim to meet for a bigger catch-up session.
