Tuesday 8 October 2019
We set to, first thing to put the spare jib on. We
slipped lines in the harbour mid morning and came into a nice light breeze. We
had a very pleasant upwind sail all day today, and now the wind has dropped,
nice and warm again.
Tricia (and Steve)
Several yachts passed us. They were motor sailing and
heading further north than we were.
We arrived at our planned stop in a bay on the south side
of the Isla di Sant Antioco. The scenery, as in Teulada, is beautiful. The bay
has a lovely sand bottom, so no trouble getting the anchor in. We all had a
swim in the crystal clear water and checked to see the anchor was secure.
There were only two other boats in the bay and it was
serenely peaceful. There was some swell which disturbed us a little in the
night.
